OpenAI introduced ChatGPT in November 2022. This new platform garnered immense attention, making generative artificial intelligence the hot topic for discussion in 2023. Conversations centred around its advantages and the potential issues arising from its widespread use.
Microsoft backed OpenAI in early 2023, promising the company multi-million and multi-year investments aimed at accelerating the development of generative AI technologies, particularly ChatGPT. Many experts attribute its rapid advancement to this support.
Google expressed its interest in generative AI technologies in March 2023 with the launch of the Bard platform. In February 2024, Google rebranded Bard to Gemini, unveiling an enhanced version of the AI chatbot to the public.
Both Google's Gemini and OpenAI's ChatGPT have their unique advantages and disadvantages, making them more suited for specific tasks. Therefore, we inquired about how Gemini compares to ChatGPT and vice versa, focusing on the insights from both Gemini Advanced and ChatGPT 4 Plus.
